Solution for use in drinking water for pigs and chickens

COMPOSITION
Each ml of product contains:
Active substance
Tilmicosin phosphate – 250 mg
Excipients
Propyl gallate – 0.2 mg
TARGET SPECIES

Chickens (broilers, breeding chickens, replacement youth).
Directions
In chickens (broilers, breeding chickens, replacement chickens) it is used for the treatment of infections caused by germs sensitive to tilmicosin: Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella multocida, Haemophillus paragalinarum, Streptococcus spp., anaerobes (Clostridium spp.), etc.

To pigs

For the treatment of respiratory infections associated with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Bordetella bronchiseptica as well as other infections produced by bacteria sensitive to tilmicosin (Fusobacterium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopatiae, Listeria, Clostridium spp.).
ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered in drinking water, as follows:
In chickens (broiler chickens, breeding chickens, replacement youth): 0.08 ml Tilmicodem 25 / kg body weight/day (corresponding to 15 – 20 mg tilmicosin phosphate/kg body weight/day) for 3 – 5 consecutive days.
In pigs: 0.09 ml Tilmicodem 25 / kg body weight / day (corresponding to 15 - 20 mg tilmicosin phosphate / kg body weight / day) for 5 consecutive days.
Water intake is dependent on the clinical condition of the animals. Therefore, to obtain the correct dose, the concentration in the drinking water will have to be adjusted.
Contraindications
Do not administer to animals with known hypersensitivity to tilmicosin, other macrolides or any of the excipients.
Do not allow horses or other equines to access drinking water containing tilmicosin.
Waiting periods
Pigs (meat and offal): 7 days.
Poultry (meat and offal): 13 days.
It is not authorized for use in laying birds that produce eggs for human consumption.
