The BIOSPOT CLEANER product does not contain pesticides or any ingredients that chemically destroy/repel parasites. The main ingredient of the product is dimethicone, a silicone oil that is also used for skin care, on which it has a very beneficial effect. Dimethicone creates a protective layer on the surface of the skin and already in the first contact with the parasite leads to its mechanical immobilization, blinding its extremities and blocking the stigmas, thus stopping the parasite's breathing and causing its death. After that, ticks, fleas and lice separate and fall off the animal, or are easily removed by brushing. Dimethicone coating prevents the hatching of parasite eggs as well as the development of other developmental stages.
