NAME OF THE VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCT, ITS CONCENTRATION AND PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Vetbicin-3, sterile powder
Vetbicin-3 as an active substance contains a mixture of three antibiotics:
For the dosage of 600,000 IU: benzathine benzylpenicillin – 200,000 IU, benzylpenicillin sodium salt – 200,000 IU, benzylpenicillin procaine – 200,000 IU.
For the dosage of 1,200,000 IU: benzathine benzylpenicillin – 400,000 IU, benzylpenicillin sodium salt – 400,000 IU, benzylpenicillin procaine – 400,000 IU.
The preparation presents a white or yellowish-white powder, forming a stable suspension with water.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Vetbicin-3 is recommended for animals for the treatment of pasteurellosis, bronchopneumonia, diseases of the urogenital system, anthrax, necrobacteriosis, streptococcus, actinomycosis, emphysema anthrax, as well as other primary and secondary infections caused by pathogens sensitive to penicillin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
With an increased individual sensitivity of the animal to antibiotics of the penicillin and procaine series, the use of the preparation is contraindicated.
The preparation is not administered during pregnancy.

ADVERSE REACTIONS
Side effects after taking the drug according to the instructions, as a rule, are not recorded.
When the allergic reaction occurs, the use of the preparation is stopped and adrenomimetics are injected subcutaneously, intramuscularly or intravenously; 10% calcium chloride solution.

TARGET SPECIES
Cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, METHOD, METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION AND PRESCRIBED DOSAGE
Before use, in the bottle with Vetbicin-3, by perforating the cover and the rubber stopper, add 5-6 ml of solution for injections (0.9% sodium chloride, sterile isotonic solution or 1-2% procaine solution), shake the bottle well until a homogeneous suspension is formed, which is immediately injected into the animal deep intramuscularly. If the needle has hit a blood vessel and a drop of blood has appeared, the needle must be removed and the injection repeated in another place.

The obtained suspension is administered to animals by single intramuscular injection in the following doses:
Large horned cattle 10 000 – 15 000 UA /kg animal live weight
Horses 10 000 – 15 000 UA /kg animal live weight
Small horned cattle 15 000 – 20 000 UA /kg animal live weight
Pigs 10 000 – 20 000 UA /kg animal live weight
Rabbits 10,000 – 15,000 AU / animal

The preparation is administered only once.

If necessary, Vetbicin-3 is applied repeatedly over 3-4 days.

WAITING PERIOD
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 14 days after the last application of Vetbicin-3. Meat from forcibly slaughtered animals, before the expiration of this period, can be used to feed carnivorous animals.
Milk from animals, obtained during treatment and for 10 days after the last injection with Vetbicin-3, is forbidden to be used for food purposes. Milk of this type can be used, after thermal treatment, for animal feed.

SPECIAL STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Vetbicin-3 is stored in the manufacturer's packaging, separated from food and feed, in a dry place, protected from sunlight, at a temperature of 0-25 ºC.

Vetbicin-3 is recommended to be kept in places inaccessible to children.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSED VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCTS OR WASTE MATERIALS DERIVED FROM VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCTS
The unused medicinal product is discarded according to the sanitary-veterinary requirements.
Empty bottles of Vetbicin-3 are forbidden to be used for domestic purposes, they must be disposed of together with household waste.

SPECIAL WARNINGS
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the product to animals
While working with Vetbicin-3 for injection, it is necessary to observe the general rules of personal hygiene and safety technique, provided for working with medicinal preparations.
In case of spontaneous contact of the preparation with the skin or ocular mucosa, wash quickly with a large amount of water. In people with increased sensitivity to the components of the preparation, it is recommended to avoid direct contact with Vetbicin-3. In the event of an allergic reaction or an accidental penetration of the preparation into the human body, it is necessary to urgently consult a doctor (it is necessary to present the instructions for use of the preparation and the label).

Interactions with other veterinary medicinal products and other forms of interaction
There are no data on the interaction of the preparation with other veterinary drugs.

DOSAGE
Symptoms of overdose in animals were not recorded.

PERIOD OF VALIDITY
Validity period, in case of compliance with the storage conditions, 3 years from the date of manufacture.
It is forbidden to use Vetbicin-3 after the expiry date.

LEGAL STATUS
It is issued with a veterinary prescription.

NATURE AND COMPOSITION OF PRIMARY PACKAGING
The preparation is supplied in the form of a sterile powder packed in 600,000 IU or 1,200,000 IU each, in sealed neutral glass vials with a capacity of 10 ml or 20 ml, with rubber stoppers and aluminum caps.
