1. NAME OF VETERINARY MEDICAL PRODUCT
AMPROSID is an oral solution for chickens and laying hens.
2. QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml of product contains:
Active substance:
Amprolium HCl 250 mg
Excipients: up to 1.0 ml

Special precautions that must be taken by persons carrying out veterinary activities on animals
It is recommended to avoid direct contact with the product and use protective gloves when handling. In case of contamination, rinse thoroughly with water.
4.6. Adverse reactions (frequency and severity)
Not known.
4.7. Use during pregnancy, lactation or laying
Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation. The product can be used during the egg-bearing period.
4.8. Interaction with other medicinal products or other forms of interaction
Do not give in combination with vitamin B1. In order to avoid accelerating the degradation of amprolium into picric acid during treatment, do not use feed containing high concentrations of choline.
Avoid giving in water rich in Ca++ ions.
In the absence of compatibility studies, it is not recommended to mix with other veterinary drugs.
4.9. Amount and route of administration
The product must be administered in drinking water in accordance with the instructions of the veterinarian, taking care not to exceed the daily intake dose (expressed in mg/kg body weight).
Chicks - in drinking water, 2.0 ml/l, which is equivalent to 500 mg of active substance/l (equivalent to 6.0 - 35 mg of active substance/kg body weight) for 3-7 days.
laying hens: in drinking water 0.24 - 1.0 ml/l, which is equivalent to 60-250 mg of active substance/l (equivalent to 6.0 - 35 mg of active substance/kg body weight) for 5-7 days.
