Product is a dextran iron solution that is intended for the routine prevention of microcitic hypochromic anemia of the piglets, which allows an effective and significant increase in the level of hemoglobin. The preparation has a positive effect on the synthesis and the number of erythrocytes. In addition to the prevention of the occurrence of sideropenic anemia, iron dextran + B12 has a beneficial effect on the improvement of the growth, as well as the increase in the resistance and vitality of young piglets.

Composition:
1 mL of solution contains:
Iron (Fe+3 ) 100 mg (in the form of a dextran complex)
Cyanocobaltamine (vit. B12) 0,1 mg
Recommended use: intended for the prevention of microcytic hypochromic (sideropenic) anemia
Method of application:
Piglets: FerruMed + B12 is applied once in the amount of 2 mL per animal, on the third day of life, ie at least 24 hours before or after administration of the preparation with selenium (Se), in order to prevent the toxic effect of iron.
Cattle, calves, horses 5-10 mL;
Sheep, goats 2-3 mL;
Dogs preventive 0.2 - 0.5 mL.
After opening, the solution must be used within 24 hours.
Contraindications are not described.
Store at temperatures up to 25oC, protected from moisture and light, out of reach of children.
It is advisable to consult a veterinarian.
