Rumex Active is a combination of phytochemicals that allow effective control of intestinal protozoa (Coccidia) and intestinal disorders of bacterial origin (E. coli, Salmonella spp.) in ruminant animals.
How it works?
❖ Anticoccidal effect:
Life cycle of Eimeria spp. became disrupted because it affects the asexual stage of blocking merozoite release.
❖ Antibacterial effect:
- Interaction with nucleic acid inhibitors cell growth.
- Reduced adhesion of bacteria to the surface of the mucous membrane of the epithelium (suppresses the formation of fimbrilar structure) and inhibition of the production of enterotoxins.
❖ Physiological effects:
- Decreased intestinal motility (reduces smooth muscle contractility), delayed intestinal transit.
- Strengthens intercellular connections. in the intestinal epithelium.
Recommended for intestinal diseases of bacterial and protozoan origin, as prevention before and after stressful situations (transport, vaccinations, manipulations). This helps reduce the use of antibiotics while maintaining optimal production levels.
