PET CLEANER spray against ectoparasites of dogs and cats contains dimethicone and Aloe vera extract that effectively destroy (contact) and repel fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, lice and other ectoparasites and have a positive effect on irritated skin. The preparation is intended for use on dogs and cats that are already infested with ectoparasites, when it destroys them very quickly, but also as a preventive measure to protect against reinfestation. Dimethicone immobilizes parasites in the first contact by creating a sticky layer around them, paralyzes their movement and at the same time prevents them from attaching to the hair/skin of the animal. It also blocks the stigmas (openings on the parasite's body through which insects and mites breathe), which quickly leads to suffocation and death of the parasites, after which they easily fall off the skin. Aloe vera extract has a very beneficial effect on the skin, hydrates it and relieves irritation.
The mechanism of the insecticidal/acaricidal effect of this product (mechanical blockage of movement and breathing of parasites) enables its use in domestic females as well as in females nursing their young, because PET CLEANER Spray is also intended for the treatment of surfaces in apartments (carpets, furniture and places where dogs and cats stay) as well as for use on surfaces in the outdoor environment (boxes, houses, etc.). The spray is easy to apply, providing effective and long-lasting protection against ectoparasites. The mechanism of action is the same as on animals, but it should be emphasized that dimethicone also acts on the developmental stages of the parasite. It creates a blocking layer around eggs, larvae and pupae, preventing transformation to the next stage and interrupting further development, which leads to their permanent elimination (with the subsequent use of our natural products (BIOSPOT, BIOSPOT ROTATION, BIOSPOT CLEANER) to prevent new infestations.
